Nkanyezi Cele is been in a music and events industry for over 30 years
Nkanyezi needs no introduction in the music industry .He has performed as a drummer for various South African and International artists. Sipho Gumede , Sibongile Khumalo, Abdullah Ibrahim, Judith Sephuma, Ray Phiri, Don Laka , Selaelo Selota ,Zim, Ngqawana,Winston Mankunku,Ezra Ngcukana,Hotep Galeta and Mike Makhalemele.

International , Gerald Albright ,Phill Perry , Maysa Leak , Rashaan Paterson and Frank McComb. To name the few.
Nkanyezi have worked at Utalagu Annual Maskandi Festival coordinating stage and artists . He has worked for Standard Bank Joy of Jazz for ten years coordinating artists local and international.
Nkanyezi is the co founder of Pietermaritzburg Jazz Festival which was one of the biggest annual event in the City was successfully from 2013 to 2019 ,was bringing thousands of people around the country.
